TITLE: The Prince's New Pet
AUTHOR: Brian Anderson
YEAR: 2011
Nicholas liked this book so much he wanted to give it two thumbs up! It features a young prince living in a gray world because his dad banished all color from the kingdom when the queen died. When a cute and colorful "wooglefoof" parachutes in for the boy's birthday, he must keep it from the color-catcher. On the run, he finds the kingdom's painter imprisoned underground. The two battle the color-catcher and bring color back to the kingdom. The king marries the painter and all is well again. A strange book with lots of adventure and beautiful pictures.
